Apple Cider Vinegar It's Side Effects :

Close-Up Photo of Filled Bottles Near Apples                                                                    According to scientific studies Apple cider vinegar is a natural tonic which has a number of health benefits.It may promote fat burning,weight loss,increase insulin sensitivity,decrease blood sugar levels,improve cholesterol levels.Although Apple cider vinegar has all these health benefits,there are also some side effects.
                              Side Effects Of Apple Cider Vinegar :- Apple cider vinegar has been reported to cause some side effects which is particularly true in large doses.
[i] Digestive Effects :- Apple cider vinegar and acetic acid may decrease appetite and promote feelings of fullness,leading to a natural reduction in calorie intake.
[ii] Delayed Stomach Emptying :- Apple cider vinegar helps prevent blood sugar spikes by reducing the rate at which food leaves the stomach and enters the lower digestive tract.This slows down it's absorption into the bloodstream.
[iii] Erosion Of Tooth Enamel :- Acidic beverages and foods have been shown to damage tooth enamel.Acetic acid in vinegar may weaken dental enamel and lead to loss of minerals with tooth decay.
[iv] Bone Loss And Low Potassium Levels :- Attributed to large doses of apple cider vinegar taken over a long period time may low blood potassium and bone loss.
[v] Skin Burn :- Apple cider vinegar may cause burns when applied to the skin due to its strongly acidic nature.There have been reports of skin burns occuring in response to treating moles and infections with apple cider vinegar.
[vi] Drug Interaction :- Some medications may interact apple cider vinegar,including digoxin,certain diuretics and insulin.
                             N.B:- To continue apple cider vinegar safely,limit your daily intake,dilute it and avoid it if you have certain conditions.
